2. CoreWeave signs $14 billion AI infrastructure deal with Meta
By Zaheer Kachwala, Reuters — Sept 30, 2025
CoreWeave, a cloud and GPU infrastructure provider, has struck a long-term agreement with Meta to supply computing capacity valued at $14.2 billion through December 2031 (with option to extend into 2032).
Following the news, CoreWeave’s stock jumped ~15%.
Under this deal, Meta secures GPU-powered infrastructure to support its large-scale AI model training and deployment, alleviating capacity constraints as demand for AI compute skyrockets.
This is one among multiple recent deals as tech firms race to lock down infrastructure in the AI arms race.
